Revisiting

    I’ve been revisiting lots of past sessions lately. I’ve been doing this for 7 years now… taking lifestyle portraits, documenting real life and real personalities – what I really love to do. Even when the business end feels a bit like drudgery, I can honestly say that I have always loved getting to know and photographing my clients. So. Much.

    Miss Loretta was 3 in these photos, I think. She’s grown up so much! You may recognize her from this session from this past fall.  These photos popped into my mind this morning, and I just had to revisit them.  I truly adore this girl, and her whole family. How amazing is it that I get to do work that I love that allows me to fall in love with my clients??? I kinda can’t believe how lucky I am sometimes.

    Sunday #5

    Some days are more inspiring than others. This past Sunday, well, I just did NOT feel inspired to pick up my camera much… so my offerings in this post are few, but silly!

    This girl, on the cusp of 10, she is my muse. Always has been. I look at her these days, and see such a glorious young woman and such a little girl simultaneously. When she dug into the Fun Dip, with her green grin, I knew I had found my little bit of inspiration for Sunday #5.
