It is a huge honor when a fellow photographer asks me to photograph their family. HUGE. HONOR. because let’s face it… there is no shortage of portrait photographers in this town, and to be the one chosen – well it feels nice. <3
When Jena of Blossom & Bee asked me to come over and photograph her new baby, I was thrilled. Jena & I had met only once before at a dinner with a few of The Photogirls at the amazing Farm Cafe last spring. I loved her from “hello”, but it took the two of us this long to get together again!

Throughout our few hours together, I kept feeling amazed by Jena and how flawlessly and naturally she has come into motherhood. Absolutely beautiful.

Thank you again for capturing our new little family so perfectly! We are absolutely thrilled with the photographs and can’t wait to see some of our favorites in prints. It was a joy to have you to our home and photograph the three of us during this most special time.
